We have been enjoying our Summer. It is hard to believe it is almost over, but this weather we are having lately is WONDERFUL!!! Bring on football season!!
We have gone to the beach twice this year. I wish we could go all the time. The boys really love it, & who can beat the food at the beach??!?! Not even me!!
We went the first of August with Marc's family on our annual summer trip. We stayed on 30-A (Blue Mountain) this year which was a FABULOUS place!!! I could live there! It is a great little community & so easy going. OK, so that is my plug for 30-A. And, if you ever get to 30-A go eat at Stinky's...IT IS AWESOME!!
So, besides havivg a great time with all 16 family members...we were also dodging the Swine Flu. Our nephew started running fever the night we got there & tested positive for the flu. Two days later my niece & sister in law got it. The day we left, my other sister in law & her 9 month old got it. Boy, things could have been worse for our immediate family. I did feel really bad Monday-Wednesday when we got back. I tested negative for the flu & no one else got any symptoms!! PRAISE THE LORD!!
So, we are rested up & enjoying the last few days of summer. We have been enjoying visiting with family the past 2 weekends, the boys started Mission Friends & Choir, & I have been putting up peas (33 quarts to be exact). I have also been doing a lot of sewing on my machine & monogramming like crazy!! I am going to post some pictures soon!!
That is about it for now!! I am going to get better at this blogging thing now we are home & in somewhat of a normal routine (is that such a thing?!?!)!! Enjoy the pictures. As you can see, getting a formal picture with 2 3 year olds is next to impossible. We will take what we can get though!
