Play Dough

So, all my housework was done yesterday (Wed), & we are going stir crazy in these 4 walls. Don't ask how long it took me with 2 two year olds! I decided to be SUPER mom today & let the boys play all the games they wanted to with me. I was trying to make a memory :)!! So, I decided to let them make play dough & play with it. How fun was that even for me? I was told they wanted blue play dough, so I made some (from scratch, of course) & tinted it blue!! I was done & letting it cool before they played with it...you will never believe what happened next! I turned my back to fill the play dough pan with water, & when I turned around I saw...Mason had unscrewed the top of the full bottle of cooking oil & dumped 3/4 of it on the floor. It went EVERYWHERE!!! Did I mention my house WAS clean? It went all under the stove, so I had to pull it out from the wall & clean it up. Have you ever tired to get cooking oil up off a tile floor? I scrubbed for a long time to cut the grease. Meanwhile, the dogs are licking it up & the boys are finding it very fun using the oil as a slip & slide across the floor. I must admit...I lost my temper & sent both children to there room & the dogs outside. This is the craziness I deal with EVERY DAY!!! With that said, I love my job as mom & having 2 VERY sweet (most of the time) in to everything boys!!! I finally managed to clean everything up, & we all played with the play dough. I even broke out the transportation cookie cutters & they played for 45 minutes.

As a side note to the day: During bathtime, the boys were telling us everybodies "real" name. I asked them what is you mommy's name? They said, "Jess-ca"! I said, "Can you say Jessica Mason Hussey?" Mason looks at me & says, "No, Jess-ca Mason Alan Hussey." Wow, he is really going to be confused one day!!! Too cute for now!!!

I really try to be a good mom, but somedays are better than others. In the midst of all the craziness today. I loved on my babies all day & made some memories, if not for them for me!!! I am truly blessed to be the mom of Caleb & Mason!!!

Sounded like a GREAT day (except that oil thing)!
