Now, to the WILD & CRAZY day we had. The devil was working early!! We left on time & got to B’ham about 9:45am. Dr. Haines said he did still have some Staph, but he wasn’t contagious anymore. She told us to continue the antibiotic he was already on. She added a new med. in place of the Atarax he has been taking at night. It is Periactin, & it works like the Atarax with a more calming affect for the itching. She still wants me to continue the steroid cream & she gave the family some med. to all get on to treat us for Staph. This is to eliminate any Staph we may be carrying. She also wants me to put 1/8 cup of Clorox in the bath water once a week. We are going to do this for a month & go back for her to recheck him. So, I am more than willing to try all of this. At least I got a better sense as to what is going on now. I pray my baby will be better soon.
Here is when the devil started working. We get back to our car about a hour ½ later to have a completely flat tire. Just our luck! I (being a women) called Onstar while Marc was trying to figure out where the tools were. Onstar sent a person to come help us change the tire, but in the meantime we worked the whole time just to get the spare from underneath the car. We had just bought these tires, so we went to Sam’s to get them to fix the flat only to find out it would be 2 hours. We decided to walk down the strip mall to the Sporting Goods to waste 2 hours. We went up to pay for our stuff & all they took was cash, so we left all the stuff. We get back to Sam’s to find out the tire had a cut in the sidewall, & we needed to buy another tire & wait 45 more minutes. We pulled out of the parking lot at 5:30pm!!!
Marc & I decided we should probably just go to bed & start over tomorrow!!! I think I will stay home tomorrow & do NOTHING!!!!

Bless.Your.Heart. I cannot imagine. I am so thankful that we're past all of that and will be praying for the same for you. Good for you for sticking with it - there's no way a mama can just watch her child suffer! We'll have to talk again soon...
